Alright. Anna is one of the most creative little girls I have ever come across. Certainly way more creative than I am. The other afternoon Taylor was down for his nap and the kids had STRICT instructions to play quietly or watch tv as I would be getting my daily beauty nap also. Well, I can ALWAYS count on Cole to sit and watch tv. In fact it was not long ago that he would proudly list that as his best talent (I think it is now playing the DS or on a good day he might say it is math). Anywho, I am always leery when I leave Anna to her own devises. Let me explain some of her "art"...
And the categories are: Nail polish
Tin Foil
Tape
Dried food (noodles, rice, popcorn)
Glue
Cotton balls
beads and ANY type of string
bowls, cups, plates, silverware
paint
Alright-really the list could include anything that you might find laying around your house. I mean ANYTHING she can make into "art". A couple of my favorite things have been:
Painting the toilet seat with pink nail polish so that is would look "prettier".
Using dry noodles put into two cereal bowls and then glue the bowls together to make maracas(only ONE of MANY ways that she can make maracas).
Chipping off the green paint on her bedroom wall and then gluing it onto a paper because the color was too pretty to throw away...
Going through a WHOLE stack of Sam's club paper plates-painting them and then putting prices on them to sell on the corner of the street.
Those are only a FEW of my favorite "art projects" that Anna has created. But, I think this beats all. Yep, she painted Cole's bike pink so that she could ride it and everyone would think that is was a girls bike and not a boys bike. Cole was pretty upset until I whispered to him that the paint was washable. Yes, I have learned that with Anna in the house, everything needs to be WASHABLE.

I am totally dying! What a riot! I love that girl! :)
Hilarious! James is pretty much exactly like Cole... never have to worry what he is up to, but OH MY, Samantha sounds WAY to much like Anna! I will start hiding the nail polish from now on :)
A girl so stinkin' cute as Anna, probably gets away with everything, right?
i love it! i never knew how creative she was. id have to say the painting of the bike pink has to be my favorite as of yet. has she made the attempt to wash it yet? :)
Oh my, that is SO funny! I wonder what kind of school experiements she will create in the future. I'm sure they will be great!
That is so stinkin hillarous!!! I laughed out loud! I can't believe she took the time to paint the whole thing pink...she has very good patience!!! You need to teach me how to make my kids have quiet time too...I LOVE my afternoon naps...but they have been very sparse these days!!
Oh Amy, I love her! That is the funniest thing ever. She is so smart!
Anna is a girl after my own heart. You dont' like the color of something? Go ahead and paint the dang thing! I hope you have a great time with your mom out there. Please, help her update her blog. It really is so very pathetic.
Hope to see you in July!!
Lets just say she was named after the right aunt. I always thought about doing creative stuff like that. The difference is that Anna actually does things. I want to see your battle wound from your Saturday run.
What a cute family you have! Thanks for saying hi on my blog. We are glad that things are going so well for you guys!
Awww I'm so glad you found us! Taylor is getting so big! I miss all my Ohio-ans...I still think of you guys every Monday morning. And yes...the rumors are true...we are expecting again Dec. 2nd. :) I find out in a few weeks what we are having. And then we move. haha. Just like when we moved to Ohio. Life is good! Tell everyone hi for me!

Ha! That is so funny! Cole is a good little man for letting his sister do that to his bike. Your kids are so good! I love it that Anna loves to be creative. I was totally like that when I was little, and I'm sure my mom loved cleaning up all the messes I made. You are such a good Momma! we can't wait to see you guys in a month or so. :)
Way too funny. Love how her creative mind works.
